31 Days Until NAMIWalks VT

So...what is NAMI?

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness by working in communities across the US to raise public awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

As a Research group who focuses on mental health, finding ways to improve care and support people suffering from mental illness is at the top of our priorities. At GMRI, we work with patients that have various conditions like Schizophrenia, Depression, PTSD, etc. in an effort to find better treatment options and ways to better people living with mental illness lives'. We see first-hand how these conditions affect individuals as well as their families and loved ones. There has never been a more important time to combat the stigma that surrounds mental illness by raising awareness and funds that will go towards more advocacy, public awareness, education, and support for those that need it most.

This is why our Team has decided to participate in NAMIWalksVT, on April 29th, at First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington, 152 Pearl Street, Burlington, VT 05401 & invites you to join us in the fight against Mental Illness! We are participating in this event to raise awareness, build community by letting people know they are not alone, and raise funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness which contributes to various programs for those affected by mental illness so that they can build better lives. Anyone can join our team and participate in the walk.

You can support our team by donating, joining us in the walk, and/or reposting our NAMI page to your socials. Donating to NAMI through our team page is easy, fast and secure.

The GMRI Team thanks you for all your support in fighting for this cause.
